Gunpowder seasoning is sort of a rub that Tommy, aka TMB, introduced us to (if it wasn't him it was somebody else) and it is great.  It is super on anything but chicken.  I think the reason it's called "gunpowder" is because it looks and is pretty much has the feel of gunpowder.  I have what I think is the recipe for it but it is available commercially somewhere in AL.  Tommy will come along and expand/correct/embellish/back up anything I have written. I'm down in FL right now and don't have my notebook of recipes with me to post at this time.  I'll be back home in Augusta Monday night.  Dee
