Hoping someone can help me out on this one.
After doing some research online, I went to my local Home Depot today to look at this grill (which can be seen at the links below). From my understanding of looking at the Home Depot & Char Broil websites, this is the 2013 model.
The grill they had on display however looked exactly like the Char-Broil TRU-Infrared 3-Burner Gourmet T-36D Model # 463250512 (which can be seen at the link below). From my understanding that is the 2012 model. I assumed that they just hadn't changed out the floor model, however, when I opened the grill and looked at the manufacturer sticker the model # was 463251713. The grill definitely does not look like what they are advertising on both the Home Depot and Char Broil websites under that model #. It makes me wonder which grill I'm going to get If I buy one.
Any and all insight into this would be very helpful.
Hi Ronaldo and Welcome!
Sorry for the delayed response. If your model number ends in 13, it is the 2013 model, but if it ends in 12, it is the 2012 model. There are only slight differences in the two grills. The 2013 model has updated knobs and the lid is a bit more curved. Do you have a picture you could load of your grill so I can identify which grill you purchased? Sometimes retailers will try and sell off their older inventory before they put out the new ones. From the sound of it, you got the 2013 model if your model number has a 13 at the end.
Which one were you trying to buy?
Thanks. - Michael
